Dancing Through Adversity

Colleen Werner knows a thing or two about dancing and adversity.  Colleen is not only known as the founder of the wellness company, Lulafit, but she is the guest on the first episode of Hey, Boss Lady! podcast.  Colleen was a classically trained ballerina who, in her 20s, was forced to choose between the career she trained her entire life for or her own future quality of life.  You can assume Colleen knows a thing or two about life devastation, transformation, resilience, and grit.

I could tell you a lot about Colleen, but instead, I want to extend an invitation to you.  The invitation is this.  Listen to the segment, then join me on Wednesday, December 16, at 3 pm PST on FB Live to discuss the segment from your life vantage point.

Here are some questions to get you thinking:

  • When have you had to make a decision that changed the course of your life?
  • Where have you transformed a decision into your next opportunity for a better life?

Think of the moves you made, the jobs you have left, the relationships you stopped or started.  It doesn’t have to be something as big as a life-altering injury.  It can be as seemingly insignificant as a job choice or as big as a global pandemic.  Transformations come in all sizes. How we recognize and respond to the call to transform is really the story you are invited to share.

So, listen to the podcast, join me on Wednesday, and share your insights.  That is what Hey, Boss Lady! is all about
