The Honor of Being Honored

Is it fitting for someone who promotes the development of personal success to be honored for doing that work? Fitting? I am not sure. I hope I would continue to do this work regardless of whether I was ever honored or recognized at any level. Yet, when I was nominated and subsequently honored, I did feel appreciation for being recognized for creating the Prescott Professional Women’s Conference.

It is with a sense of honor that I share the press release.

Now here is the Dr. Success Challenge for the week. Find someone to honor for something they have done. Nominate them if there is an award they can be granted, but most of all just let them know. Then take note of how it makes you feel when you recognize someone’s good work. You may notice that it feels as good to honor someone as it ever did to be honored.

Thank you Stew Gibbons for the beautiful photo used in this post. May the double rainbows bring you double the joy in sharing your photography with the world. I honor and support your work and look forward to seeing it on products and using it more.
