Expansion and Contraction

Do you believe that something that expands, then contracts — and even dissolves — can be restructured to create something even more beautiful than before?  Well that is what Chaos Theory suggests.

The cheeky way you may have heard about Chaos Theory is when someone says, “A butterfly flaps its wings in Alaska and there is an ecologolical impact in Brazil.”  I think about it a lot when my life, an organization I am involved with is expanding and/or contracting faster than I can understand.  Chaos Theory helps keep me grounded that whatever I am experiencing is only part of an ending and part of a beginning.

I like this particular YouTube video about Chaos Theory.  It is a bit long — about 8 minutes — but I especially like the comments at 3:37 and 4:37 by the therapist.  Hope you find it interesting.
