Two Questions

Two questions lead my day-to-day work life:

1.  Did what I do (or am doing) today make me happy?

2.  Did what I do (or am doing) today make me money?

Preferably, I want the answer to both questions to be ‘yes’.   These questions are ones I have shared before, but they really come up for me when I am creating a program for a new group.  Tomorrow I will facilitate my Don’t Die Waiting workshop for a Las Vegas Vistage group.

As I complete this day, I know my work did make me happy.  I fully assume it will make me money!  For today I have lived the truth “Do what you love and the money will follow.”

What questions and truth guided your work life today?

Feel free to borrow mine!  PS:  The photo on this blog this was taken at a friends home last week.  It is a flowering cactus that only blooms for one day.  Tomorrow the bloom will be gone.  I felt it was a fitting photo to share.  From best I can tell, the only day I have is this day.  I know I have used it wisely.  What about you?
